Viktor Chvátal

Viktor Chvátal is the founder of Psychedelics EUROPE, a Brussels-based platform that brings together policymakers, regulators, researchers, and industry to support collaboration, share best practices, and advance practical pathways for psychedelic-assisted therapy across Europe.

In addition to his work in Brussels, Viktor is active at the national level, particularly in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. He has participated in Member State–level discussions on reimbursement models and the cost-effectiveness of psychedelic-assisted therapy. He is also the lead organizer of Mental Health Prague, a major annual EU regulatory convening focused on psychedelic-assisted therapy.‍ ‍

Eric Vermetten, M.D., Ph.D.

Prof. Dr. Eric Vermetten, Ph.D., is a clinical psychiatrist and an advisor for the Dutch Ministry of Defence working with veterans and other uniformed officers. He has clinical as well as research positions with a focus on medical, biological, and psychiatric aspects of complex psychotrauma in military and civilian populations. He has published over 200 papers, 30 book chapters, and edited several books on this topic. Prof. Vermetten has a focus on combining biological-based interventions in psychotraumatology with novel technology and novel drug developments.

Dr. Ingmar Gorman is a licensed psychologist specializing in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. He is a co-founder of Fluence, a leading education and training company in the psychedelic industry, where he has focused on preparing mental health professionals to work ethically, skillfully, and responsibly with these treatments. Dr. Gorman served as a site co-principal investigator on an FDA-approved Phase 3 clinical trial of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for post-traumatic stress disorder and has contributed to the development of psychotherapy protocols for many drug sponsors. His work also includes integrating artificial intelligence into therapist training and precision psychiatry to support accessible care. He has published extensively on topics including classic psychedelics, ketamine, and MDMA-assisted psychotherapy.
